Last week was amazing. The Game Developer Conference 2024 (GDC 2024) took place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, and part of Just Mobile Security’s team were there for the second year in a row.
For those who don't know what this conference is all about, GDC defines itself as a conference "by developers, for developers."
I honestly feel that this conference is different from the ones I usually attend to, since GDC blends technicality with creativity.
GDC takes several halls from the Moscone Center. Inside, you can hear conversations about video game music, plots and narrative, the type of technology used in video game development (such as Web3 or VR), attracting new players, or captivating the audience. You can find single-player games, multiplatform games (from PC to mobile), QA, Anti-Cheating—everything! And there is also a really friendly atmosphere, which is why, in my opinion, this conference is different.
Moreover, I could meet many Argentinians who were there and, again, good vibes were in the air. I found freelancers, video game developers, private companies focused on gaming, ADVA representatives, and more! This picture sums everything up :)
It was an amazing week. See you next year!
